Description:
DVONN is a challenging stacking game with very simple rules. It is played with 3 red DVONN pieces, 23 white pieces, and 23 black pieces. The players must try to control as many pieces as possible by building stacks, preferably by jumping on top of their opponent's pieces. While doing so, pieces and stacks must remain linked to the red DVONN pieces. If not, they are out of the game! When no more moves can be made, each player puts their stacks on top of each other. The player with the highest stack wins the game!

fun game
this game is certainly fun and you can play a round in about ten to fifteen minutes. One issue is that if you are playing against the same opponent, one player may constatnly win! I've played my wife ten times and she has won the last nine in a row! I think she just sees the strategy in it a lot better than I do, but it's still a good game like checkers/chess for two people.

Awesome and Challenging!
This is now one of my favorite board games! It has a great element of strategy, plus it is challenging, and that equals a truly amaizing game! Anyone who likes strategy should get this!

Dvonn, A well ballanced abstract
Dvonn is the most fun of the Gipf series of games. Gipf is the deepest; Zerts is the most aesthetically beautiful but a little opaque until you play a bit; Yinsh is a twist on old classics such as 4-in-row and Othello. But Dvonne combines beauty, fun and a good deal of depth in the one game. 4.5 stars.

Great abstract strategy game!
This game is addictive. Once you play it and get the basic principles of the game, you'll want to play it over and over. It is easy to learn, with only a few rules. If you like this game, also try Zertz (I think I prefer Zertz to Dvonn, but they are both superb games).
