Battleship is, of course, a classic--who can forget "You sank my battleship!" But alas, it shows its age in a hurry for anyone over 10. Based primarily on luck, Battleship is nice for younger players.

 Great game for kids
I love this game. It is especially a great game for kids of all ages. I recommend buying it for your kids.

 All luck, No skill
Battleship combines strategy, luck and more luck. Its fun for a while, but then as you get older it gets extremely boring. Fun to play every once in a while.

Very good game for children of all ages. If you find it boring, there is electronic versions out there also.

 Boring for Older Players
I remembered liking this for one season as a kid so I gave it to my daugther a few years ago. We tried it a couple times and found it completely boring. Haven't played it since.
Mastermind is a better choice for a game involving decoding the opponent's secret peg set up. More challenging.

I thought that the game is very strategic and give me an insight to being in the military. Being in the military has always been one of my dreams and i would advise any one to play on it!!!
