| not like the old game
Have two grandaughters who both have to have the same thing--they fight over the legs, eyes, or whatever. At least with the older version all the parts was the same.

I can't really say to much about this game, but what I can say won't be too nice about this game. It's a good game and me being only a teenager had a hard time getting the pieces in and out. all the angles are annoying, and you can only fit things in a special way. and not the good kind of special either. The game almost broke when I playing it and I was playing for only a few minutes!!

| Fun but Flimsy
I remember loving this game as a kid and wanted my kids to have it, too. It appeared to be made better than back in my day, but some critical errors were not corrected!
The peices have to be inserted at strange angles into the bug...so kids cannot do it on their own. Then when they try to pull them out, the peg part breaks off and the pieces are forever un-usable.
Kids love the concept of the game, but it will break before long and become too frustrating! Buy something else!

| COOTIE GAME SUCKS
I use to have the COOTIE Game when I was a tot. I 28-30 years a go, we got a ton of use out of it and played all the time with it. NOW, the way it is made, it is JUNK!!! YOu put on one leg, afte SHOVING it on (no 3 or 4 year old could do it)I am 33 and had a problem, and then the othe leg you have on falls off. IT is HORRIBLE, DO NOT WASTE MONEY, IF YOU GET IT AS A GIFT, GET A RECPT. TAKE IT BACK, IT WILL FRUSTRATE YOU ALL ENDS AND YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PUT THE PIECES ON, AND YOU WILL HAVE the JUNK PIECES ALL OVER YOUR HOUSE, as you will NOT be able to play the game, so that is all it will be worth, junk pieces laying everywhere. I gathered it all up and am putting it in the trash can. My son JUST got it today from his aunt, and I feel bad asking for the reciept. Plus I already took it all apart as ALL THE PARTS come on these little plastic things and you have to rip them all off, a kid could get a little paper cut doing it, My fingers hurt when I was done ripping them all off. I am a pretty easily satisfied mom and this is the first time I ever even attmepted to write a review about a toy, but I thought it was totally necessary this time. I use to LOVE COOTIES, get me one hat was made back in the 70's and I might be happy again about the game.

| Breakable
Unfortunately, the first time my 3 year old played with it he broke off 3 legs in a Cootie bug. Now one body piece and a whole set of legs are rendered useless. Other than that, it's fun for him to sit and build Cootie bugs with, but we don't play it as a game often.

| Marginally better than Candyland
For some reason this game even bores my 5 year old. I remember playing it when I was a kid and I enjoyed it. Now as an adult it can become very tedious to play this with your kids.

| Pretty good kids game
This game is pretty good for kids, but it's not very fun for adults because it is entirely based on luck. Kids like it, though, because they get to play with all of the pieces and create a bug.
