Description:
Time is against you. You know what you'd like to say if you could only find the words. But some things in life are strictly... TABOO.
Example: How do you get your team to say the word BIRTHDAY... if you can't say the words HAPPY, ANNIVERSARY, CANDLES, PRESENTS or CAKE?
You might say: "Friends and family sing to you once each year," or "You celebrate this event by blowing out a fire on top of a frosted dessert." Or you might hum the well-known tune until your team shouts, "Birthday!"
Each time your teams shouts out the secret word, you get a point. But be careful! Your opponents will be looking over your shoulder, making sure you don't say any of the TABOO words. Because if you do and they catch you, they sound the buzzer and score a point!
TABOO... it's unspeakable fun. Take our word for it!

Terrible Game
This is a terrible game. The only thing good about this game is the end of it as well as the nice sound the buzzer makes when you press the button. I would recommend this game for infants who cant play or elders who are to old too realize the meaning of life as well as the foundation of fun. If you get this game for Christmas make sure you ask for the gift recipt.

My Favorite Game
I am obsessed with this game. I was having a party once, and borrowed Taboo Jr. from my neighbor and it was a total blast. Since then I have bought my own copy of Taboo and have given a copy as a birthday present. It's just that great! After a while, rules get pushed aside along with team divisions. It's a good game to play with people you know well! In my opinion, it's one of those games you don't have to explain because everyone sort of catches on. I'd recommend to anyone from the ages of 12+!

Good times; good times. Early this morning my significant other and I decided that after a long walk with the dogs we\'d have something besides cheerios for breakfast. And it\'s not what you may be thinking. It was, well, what else? TABOO. What a blast and a half. All I gotta say. Anyone who is considering it, what do you got to lose?

FUN, FUNNY, VERY CHALLENGING, GREAT !!!
My husband and I purchased this game as we often play games with our grand children, but we never got around to learning it or playing it until two of my college age grandsons came over last night and taught us. It was challenging, funny, nerve racking at times, trying to beat the clock, but most of all, the four of us had a wonderful time together and it really does help build a vocabulary of word espression. The only problem I am having is I can't find out how to order or get more cards to be more challenging instead of memorizing the ones that came with the game, going through them over and over. Hope you can direct me.

So Fun!
I play this with my siblings (in our teens-20s) and we have so much fun. It brightens everyone's mood. No one feels like they are losing. Everyone gets loud and excited. Brings out the clever side in you.
