Description:
From the craggy hillsides of Edinburgh to the sunlit docks of Constantinople, from the dusty alleys of Pamplona to a windswept station in Berlin, Ticket to Ride Europe takes you on a new train adventure through the great cities of turn-of-the-centry Europe. Will you risk a trip through the dark tunnels of Switzerland? Venture aboard a ferry on the Black Sea? Or erect lavish train stations in the great capitals of the old empires? Your next move might just make you Europe's greatest train magnate!
Ticket to Ride Europe is the next installment in our best-selling train adventure series. Players collect cards of various types of train cars, and use them to build stations, pass through tunnels and onto ferries, and lay claim to railway routes throughout Europe. Ticket to Ride Europe is elegantly simple, can be learned in 5 minutes, and appeals to both families and experienced gamers. This box contains a complete new game and does not require the original Spiel des Jahres-winning Ticket to Ride.

| Great Family Game!
After reading the reviews on this site, I bought this game for my 10 year-old for Christmas. I was looking for a game that was fun, could be played by a minimum of 2 people, but up to four, could be finished in a hour and had enough strategy to keep us from getting board. We spent about 15 minutes learning the rules. The first time we played, there were three of us and it took about 1 1/2 hours. Since then, it has been mostly my daughter and I and we normally finish in 45-60 minutes, which to me is the perfect amount of time. We are still learning all the cities in Europe. The game is fun for the whole family, requires enough strategy to keep things interesting and is educational, all at the same time.

| Needs one improvement
After playing Ticket:Europe, many times, everyone in our family seems to continually go after the same thing game after game. I know what my son-in-law is going to do, and my daughter, and they know my strategies. What I want to see, is a game that you can alter the routes from game to game, so each time you play, there is a variation in the route structure. This truly would make this game "new" each time you play.

| Excellent
This was our first family game and still though we have about 15 or so, this is the one we love the most. Never played the original, but this one even my 5 year old excited to play (for at least half of the game).
Excellent family game.

| Love this game!
I used to think board games were boring.. this game totally kicks any other board games i've played 's butt. haha it's so great! You get to build trains and strategize but its not boring/tiring strategy like chess or risk.. then at the end you get to count points. and its so funny when someone wants to establish a tunnel and they don't have enough cards. haha

| Better than US but not quite as good as Marklin Version
I absolutely love this game. I never played the original, US, version, but went straight into Ticket To Ride Europe. Absolutely fabulous game. The tunnels are tricky, but can be easily taken care of with careful planning (and the same colored train cards). However, I don't find the game quite as frustrating (or exciting)as the Marklin Edition. The Marklin Edition, played on the map of Germany, is very frustrating. However, because of it's smaller board size can be played in less time than Ticket To Ride Europe. Overall, one of the best games I have EVER played.

| Better than the US
More exciting, more challenging, more fun. Get this instead of the US version. I actually the Marklin version even better than the Euro.
