Buzzword, by Patch Products, is a party game that really keeps things hopping during the 45 seconds in which players must guess the answers to ten clues. On each team’s turn, a card is drawn that contains a “Buzzword” and ten clues. The answer to each clue must include the buzzword. For example, if the buzzword were “Apple”, the first clue might be “The object of my affection,” to which the answer would be “Apple of my eye.” A point is awarded for each correct answer, and any unanswered clues are given to the opposing team for a chance to steal a point. The first team to attain 50 points is crowned the winner.
Buzzword is a good game for small parties or get-togethers. It’s tougher than you’d think to get through all ten clues before time runs out, and the look of anguish on your opponents’ faces as they struggle to get a tough clue is pretty entertaining. Buzzword’s biggest drawback is that you can’t specify your own clues—you have to use the clues given on the cards. This can stifle your creativity, but ensures that the clue-reader doesn’t get stuck trying to think of a clue to give. All in all, Buzzword is a winning proposition for a party, but it probably won’t capture the hearts of the most creative gamers in the group.

Played it on New Years Eve
We had a game party on New Years Eve and this was one of the games that we played and compared to other games we found it be mediocre. So much so that we haven't played it since New Years of 2011.

 LOADS OF OFFICE FUN
I work in an office. We have daily games to keep it lively and this is one that was the biggest hit.

Fun for smart and clueless alike. Rapid action too. Also not too serious of a game so the poor-sport cant-lose guy in the bunch won't pout. :)

I like its idea , but I think it would be better if maybe you can choose to either have their clues, or make your own clues like taboo

Game Club Loved It
We have a "Game Club" that gets together once a month. One of the members won this game and brought it last night. We all loved it.

Loved it....
Not everybody is quick in thought. This game requires a focus and speed of answer that kept me entertained. Some folks at the table would chime in but if you're slow you get left in the dust.
Game gives you a break as well since the action is fast and then you laugh for a while.
Find some sober smart folks and have a great time.

excellent game
Me and my family play a lot of games but this is the best one we have ever played. This is a game anyone can play, young or old.

Great fun!
Absolutely love this game. My husband and I play it all the time with our friends. It's a great trivia-like game, and althought it's really fast, it's made easier because you know all answers contain the "buzzword." If you don't have this game, you should add it to your collection.
