Description:

This is the home of ancient American prophets such as Alma, Mosiah and Samuel the Lamanite. Zarahemla, the Nephite capital, thrived as its people were righteous, and suffered setbacks to its enemies during times of corruption and moral decay. It is your job to settle, unite and reinforce the freedoms of the land of Zarahemla. Do this through savvy trading, establishing a righteous military of Stripling Warriors or by building a Temple for holy worship. But whatever strategy you choose, choose correctly, as your ultimate prosperity depends on your ability to grow this fledgling society more quickly than your opponents. The Settlers of Zarahemla, based upon The Book of Mormon and created for the Latter-day Saint community, will be an instant hit with your family. Based on The Settlers of Catan which has sold 3 million copies worldwide, this game features social interaction, a bit of strategy and just enough luck to cater to everyone's personalities!

Our Review:

Settlers of Zarahemla is the same game as the all-time great Settlers of Catan, just marketed particularly for a Mormon market. A nice feature of this game is that it includes a component that holds the tiles together nicely--something that any serious Settlers player would be happy about. If you're a Mormon, or are looking for some nice new artwork on the same Settlers theme, give Settlers of Zarahemla a try.

The Settlers of Zarahemla rating: 5/5 stars Zarahemla is Great!

I love playing this game with my family and I every sunday. It is very neat how the church incorporated and, familiar with the gospel, that is fun to play. Being a latter-day-saint, this game is great!

The Settlers of Zarahemla rating: 5/5 stars Brilliant!

Although only another version of Settlers of Catan, it is a winning version. Although it is primarily for the LDS community, my wife and I have found it terrific. We don't know these prophets but who cares, the game is great!

The Settlers of Zarahemla rating: 5/5 stars Great Version Of Settlers

I am a huge fan of any version of Settlers. But this game is the best of all of them. The colors and board are bright and vividly colored. The addiion of the greatest temple stone contributor makes for better strategic play. My family spends hours playing this game everytime we get together. My only wish is that they would add a 5-6 player expansion for it later on. Everyone loves this game. And they should.

The Settlers of Zarahemla rating: 5/5 stars great game

A fun game. My husband loves Risk and those kind of games, and I enjoy shorter more interactive games so this one is a nice compromise.

The Settlers of Zarahemla rating: 5/5 stars Great version of Settlers

Better artwork than regular Settlers of Catan. A few unique elements, like the Temple building option and a board that reduces the chance of a bad initial setup. But no expansions are available (yet anyway).
